AEW WrestleDream 2024 started off with a bang as the very first match on the Zero Hour pre-show featured a title change.
During the opening contest, Brian Cage defeated Atlantis Jr. to win the ROH World Television Championship following a Drill Claw.
The Swolverine adds this to his previous success in Ring of Honor as a two-time ROH World Six-Man tag team champion alongside Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona. Though technically not All Elite Wrestling, this is his first singles title outside of the FTW Championship, which stayed an “unrecognized” championship throughout its run.
In comparison, Atlantis held this ROH World Television title for 95 days, capturing it from Kyle Fletcher at CMLL Super Viernes in Mexico City on June 28, 2024.
He has done it! 'The Machine' Brian Cage is the NEW #ROH World TV Champion!
