Former AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson is doing what he can to avoid surgery as questions remain about his future in the ring.
Danielson hasn’t competed since AEW WrestleDream 2024, where his title reign and full-time career were ended at the hands of Jon Moxley.
Speaking to Denise Salcedo at the All In: Texas tickets launch event, Danielson shared an update about his neck and recovery. He said,
“My neck is not great. We were just talking about this not too long ago, and it’s causing me to not sleep well and some other issues.
“I’m trying to avoid it [surgery] as much as possible. To me, surgery is a last resort, not a first resort. So, I’m trying some other things. I’m a little kooky, right? People who know me know I’m a little kooky. I’m going to try some other things first before going under the knife. That’s kind of my plan now.”
Despite this setback, Danielson said that he’s happy and has enjoyed being able to spend more time with his wife and their children.
Bryan shared at the tickets launch event that he will be part of All In: Texas on July 12. Click here to find out more.
