Chris Jericho will return to WWE, according to Bully Ray, but fans shouldn’t expect to see him make a WWE Hall of Fame acceptance speech.
On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Bully Ray gave his bold prediction for Jericho’s future in the ring. He said,
“Chris Jericho will finish his career in the WWE. End of story, and be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and then pull an Axl Rose and no-show his Hall of Fame induction.
“Chris is very smart, Chris is a master chess player,” said Bully. “You don’t think that the WWE sees the value of Chris Jericho’s last run in the WWE? … It’s a no-brainer.”
In March of this year, Jericho said he’d love to emulate his Rock & Roll heroes by no-showing the Hall of Fame if he was to be inducted.
Jericho has been a part of AEW since the company launched in 2019 but made a one-off appearance on WWE RAW in June 2022.
That appearance saw Jericho appear via video to congratulate John Cena on the 20th anniversary of his main roster debut. Bryan Danielson and Paul Wight also sent videos.
