Lots of factions in All Elite Wrestling had some interesting tweaks take place on the April 9, 2025 episode of AEW Dynamite.

We now have confirmation that the AEW’s trademark from January of The Paragon is going to be used for the triumvirate of Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong after they referred to themselves as such in a backstage segment:

The Hurt Syndicate took a vote on whether or not to allow Maxwell Jacob Friedman into the group. MVP voted yes, but both Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin voted no.

Later in the show, The Hurt Syndicate were talking to Alicia Atout and Lashley reiterated again how they don’t need him. Benjamin said “little George Costanza” is funny, though, and went to talk to Lashley. MJF then approached MVP and asked why he’s being treated like this, and MVP said that MJF needs to approach this like a business deal by giving the consumer what they want, leaving the door open that he may be able to convince them to let him in.

Don Callis had a backstage segment where he talked about how Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita will win both their sides of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and face off in the finals, ensuring a Don Callis Family victory this year. But beyond the Owen Hart Cup, he also addressed how since there are injuries to Brian Cage and Mark Davis, and pointed out how Lance Archer lost to Brody King. The Don Callis Family isn’t healthy right now, and wanted to let it known he’s officially accepting applications for recruiting new members to the faction.

Last to report, Chris Jericho had a TV Time promo segment in the ring along with Big Bill and Bryan Keith. The Redwood said that he’s there to learn from Jericho, but not to be his punching bag, and he knows The Bad Apple agrees. Jericho accuses them of being the reason why he lost the ROH World Championship (and his tooth) to Bandido, but then says that while others would say that about them, he doesn’t agree. He believes in them, and their wins are his wins. He’s not mad, but he’s disappointed.

Jericho then flipped out, throwing a tantrum about how disappointed he is, smashing some of his promo set and telling them to fix that. Until they do, it’s better for him to leave. He then left the arena huffing and puffing and striking random things with Floyd (his baseball bat) on the way out.

How do you think these factions are going to balance out? Who would you recruit to The Don Callis Family? Would you split up The Learning Tree? Drop your ideas in the comments below!
