Chris Jericho On John Cena’s Farewell Tour – ‘It’s Great!’

John Cena returned to WWE at the 2024 Money In The Bank pay-per-view event to announce his forthcoming retirement from pro wrestling in 2025

Before hanging up his boots, the Cenation Leader will compete at WWE Royal Rumble 2025, Elimination Chamber 2025, and WrestleMania 41.

In a recent appearance on the “McGuire on Wrestling” podcast, former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho shared his thoughts on Cena’s “The Last Time Is Now” farewell tour, expressing his belief that it is a commendable idea.

He said, “It’s great. John’s always had a great love for wrestling, and he’s got a great connection with the fans, so I think it’s a cool way to go about it. People know that this is it. John’s not the type of guy to say anything lightly, so I’m sure he’s been focused on this and working with the company to make sure it’s right, and I’m sure it’s gonna be a really great year and a half for Cena fans and for John Cena himself.”

Earlier today, Cena likened his farewell tour to a memorable sunset and expressed his anticipation for sharing the experience with his family.
