The title changes continue to roll in at AEW All In: London as Maxwell Jacob Friedman lost the AEW American Championship to Will Ospreay, who reverted the title back to the AEW International Championship name right after the match.

In a hotly contested match that saw several false finishes and moments where referee Bryce Remsburg was out of commission, MJF’s cheating with a series of low blows still managed to prove unsuccessful as karma caught up to him.

This came about through interference from a returning Daniel Garcia, who managed to stop MJF from using a foreign object and clocked him with a punch of his own. That strike and distraction opened up room for Ospreay to hit the Hidden Blade and follow it up with a Tiger Driver before scoring a pinfall over Friedman.

Based on what transpired, we can assume not only will the American Championship be discontinued in favor of returning to the AEW International Championship, but that we’ll likely see the fallout of this with MJF vs. Daniel Garcia taking place at AEW All Out coming up on September 7th at the Now Arena in Chicago, but that has yet to be announced or confirmed.

Meanwhile, we do know what Ospreay will be up to at All Out, as PAC had previously been positioned as the next in line to challenge for the title against whoever walked out of this match holding the gold.

Are you excited for PAC vs. Will Ospreay at All Out? What do you think of Daniel Garcia’s return and this title change? Drop your thoughts in the comments below!
