Dr. Britt Baker put out the challenge to Mercedes Mone several weeks ago, hoping for an AEW TBS Championship match between the two at AEW All In London.
After Baker defeated Hikaru Shida on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the “CEO” finally had a response for Baker, coming out to give her an emphatic “no” answer.
But the bigger statement wasn’t the rejection of that title match, which we can all assume will somehow be made official in due time. Rather, it was the debut of All Elite Wrestling’s now tallest competitor in the women’s division, Kamille.
The former NWA World Women’s Champion of 812 days in a single reign — the fifth longest in total, behind The Fabulous Moolah (9,925 days over 4/5 reigns), Debbie Combs (3,461 days over 2 reigns), Jazz (948 days for 1 reign) and MsChif (916 days for 2 reigns) had been signed to AEW many months back and was sitting on the sidelines, waiting to make her first appearance.
