The in-ring career of Cody Hall, son of Scott Hall, remains uncertain, and Kevin Nash has pointed the finger of blame squarely at The Young Bucks.
On a recent edition of his “Kliq This” podcast, Nash discussed why the younger Hall hasn’t wrestled in years. He said,
“Cody got hurt in Japan. He broke his neck with the Young Bucks. One of the Young Bucks jumped off the fu**ing balcony and broke his neck. So that’s why Cody’s not wrestling.”
Hall last wrestled in February 2020 for DDT Pro Wrestling. He has also wrestled for Pro Wrestling NOAH and Revolution Pro Wrestling.
On the podcast, Nash recalled Hardcore Holly visiting the injured Cody and giving him a chilling reminder about the wrestling business. He said,
“As he was healing, he was in the hospital with a neck brace on and Bob Holly came in the room and put an X on his chin. He said, ‘If you fu**ing think about coming into the business, it hits you right here.”
Cody’s father Scott Hall died in March 2022 following surgery complications. He was inducted twice into the WWE Hall of Fame.
