Konnan has expressed excitement for Kenny Omega’s upcoming AEW Dynasty 2025 title match against Ricochet and Mike Bailey.

Speaking on a recent edition of his “Keepin’ It 100” podcast, the AAA booker said he’s eager to see what the three competitors will deliver in the ring during Sunday’s pay-per-view event.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On why Tony Khan booked it as a three-way match and not a singles bout: “Tony [Khan] wants a great match, and Bailey, Ricochet, and Omega will have a great match. The thing is you have to watch TNA Impact and he [Bailey] was having phenomenal matches over there.”

On the match being a three-way instead of just Omega vs. Ricochet: “I don’t care because I know it’ll be a great match, so if it’s Omega versus Ricochet or the three-way, I’m fine.”

Adam Devine made an appearance at AEW Revolution 2025, executing a chokeslam on Mansoor alongside Tony Cavalero. The stunt was part of a promotion for The Righteous Gemstones, which airs on Max. However, Devine later expressed his wish that his Workaholics co-star Blake Anderson could have been involved in the action. This topic came up in a conversation between Devine, Anderson, and Anders Holm on the “This Is Important” podcast.

You can check out a transcript of the exchange below:

Adam: “You know when I did the thing at AEW the other week, I was thinking, I thought it was very fun and it was awesome, for sure. Then I got off stage and people were like, ‘That had to have been a bucket list thing for you.’ It wasn’t. It’s still, even now, yeah, it was cool thing. Not bucket list. I wouldn’t put it up there. Even close to the top ten things that I want to do before I die. I was thinking Blake and Kyle, that is their bucket list. To go in the ring, 20,000 screaming fans, chokeslam someone.”

Anders: “You know what they say, one man’s bucket list is another man’s ‘sure, fine, I’ll do that’ list. ‘Sure, fine, for promotion I’ll do that’ list.”

Adam: “That is probably yours [Blake], right? A bucket list thing for you?”

Blake: “Are you saying I’m going solo or going in with Kyle into the ring and chokeslamming (someone)? If it was me and Kyle going in, we have spraypaint, we chokeslam a guy, we spraypaint NWO on his back, that would be a like, I could die after that. That would be incredible.”

Adam: “See, I wouldn’t want to die after that. I would just go, ‘I’m going to keep living. That’s a cool thing I did.'”

Blake: “Being in the center of the ring after a chokeslam…you should’ve thrown a ‘suck it,’ dude.”

Adam: “That’s not AEW.”

Blake: “I know, but you can still throw a ‘suck it’ and the fans would go wild.”

Adam: “I was just putting my sunglasses on, like I was told to do. I was told, ‘Put on some sunglasses.'”

Blake: “They told you to do that?”

Adam: “Yeah, they were like, ‘Hey, if and when this guy wins. Put on some sunglasses.’ ‘Okay.'”

Blake: “Did you pitch, ‘Yo, can I do a Stone Cold. Could somebody throw me two beers?’ Chug the beers. Stunner somebody.”

Adam: “There wasn’t a lot of pitching. I didn’t even know I was going to do it. I walk in and they’re like, ‘How physical are you willing to get?’ ‘What’s that?’ ‘Maybe you chokeslam someone?’ ‘Maybe?’ ‘At the end of the match, I’ll come and grab you, you climb in the ring, and you chokeslam this guy.’ ‘Okay.’ He sold it so well. I wasn’t doing shit. These wrestlers are sick. It was very cool. I’m downplaying it like it meant nothing. It was a very cool experience, but it wasn’t like…I didn’t feel like, ‘Now I can die’ after.”

Blake: “Obviously, I was a wrestlehead for a large portion of my life.”

Anders: “Is that what the call fans of wrestling, wrestleheads?”

Blake: “No, I just said that. I was an NWO-ite. I was D-Generation X. I was all these things. I was so into it. I fucking loved that shit in high school.”

Adam: “I thought, immediately upon getting off the stage, or the ring, ‘I wish this were Blake.'”

Blake: “You thought that? That was the first thought you had? That is so kind.”

Adam: “My first thought is, Tony [Khan] is like, ‘Oh my God, my heart is racing, that was incredible.’ My heart wasn’t beating. At all. I was dead. I was like, ‘Oh yeah, mine too.’ It wasn’t. I was totally fine. It wasn’t racing.”
