As we reported earlier today here on eWn, Kota Ibushi will be making his in-ring return later this month for DDT Pro.
Ibushi is teaming up with Danshoku Dieno and Akito to face off against Tetsuya Endo, Yuki Iino, and Yuya Koroku. The Japanese star was granted permission by AEW to participate in the match.
Taking to Twitter, Ibushi teased his potential return to AEW, noting that he plans to do so with Kenny Omega.
He wrote, “No, my home is AEW. We’ll see a full comeback with Kenny.”
Omega underwent surgery for diverticulitis this past May, and the typical recovery period is four months. The former AEW World Champion has started hitting the gym to prepare for his highly anticipated AEW return.
