During a recent appearance on “The Outerhaven” podcast, AEW wrestler Kyle Fletcher provided an update on Mark Davis.

Davis has been sidelined since October 2023 due to a wrist injury.

Fletcher said, “He’s doing good. I don’t want to get too much into what’s going on with him, I think that’s his story, I think he will tell that story when he feels fit, I don’t think that’s my job or place. But, he’s doing good. As far as it comes to Aussie Open in the future, it’s very hard to say, right? He’s been gone for close to a year now, WrestleDream last year was the last time we saw him. A lot has happened since then, I’ve been in the ring with Kenny Omega, Bryan Danielson, Will Ospreay, all of these people. I’ve grown and changed so much so I think when it comes to him returning when he does return, the landscape might be different. I think time will only tell when it comes to that.”

Nigel McGuinness and Bryan Danielson will be facing off against each other on next week’s episode of AEW Grand Slam: Dynamite, and former ROH President Cary Silkin recently looked back on their epic feud in ROH.

While appearing on a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Silkin opined on their long history and what AEW needs to do with the feud.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On the long history between the two: “They wrestled each other 24 times… They were the pinnacle, despite all those names [of stars who wrestled in ROH].”

On what AEW needs to do with the feud: “This match, this feud, you have to reeducate the people. I mean, you don’t have to, that’s what I would think. He [McGuinness] was not jealous, but he was just like, ‘Dammit, I wish I could’ve had that [Danielson’s] spot.’ But he accepted it and he had a good career with his announcing.”
