What’s scheduled for this Saturday night’s edition of AEW Collision and next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite?
At the moment, there is only one match scheduled for AEW Collision, wherein FTR will face off against The Acclaimed to determine the No. 1 Contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championship titles.
This came about due to The Young Bucks vs. The Acclaimed title defense on Dynamite ending in a disqualification as a result of interference from Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler. AEW Interim EVP Christopher Daniels immediately followed that match with the announcement of this Collision bout to try to settle the beef between the two potential challenger teams.

Next Wednesday’s edition of AEW Dynamite (August 21, 2024) at the Utilita Arena Cardiff in Cardiff, Wales will at the very least feature one major title match, as Kazuchika Okada will defend the AEW Continental Championship against Claudio Castagnoli.
Those two had a face-to-face interview promo segment with Renee Paquette, talking trash to hype up their match. Castagnoli wants the Okada that is a four time G1 Climax tournament winner, and not the version of him more concerned about goofing around with The Young Bucks.

Following that trend, there will be a face-to-face between MJF and Will Ospreay to help build hype around their upcoming AEW American/International Championship bout that will go down at Wembley Stadium.

Finally, as Chris Jericho agreed to give HOOK one last chance at the FTW Championship at AEW All In 2024, part of the stipulation was that HOOK is going to have to face The Learning Tree’s Big Bill on Dynamite, who will look to soften up The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil prior to their big match in London.
"The Learning Tree" offers HOOK a match for the #FTW Championship at #AEWAllInLondon, but with some caveats…
