Mark Henry, a WWE Hall of Famer, announced on Monday that he will be leaving AEW. He revealed that he will leave the company once his AEW contract expires this week.
In 2021, Henry joined AEW and took on the role of an analyst on AEW Rampage, which debuted on TNT that same year. He also contributed behind the scenes as a producer, scout, and mentor alongside his on-screen role.
During today’s edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Henry mentioned that his departure from AEW was a mutual decision. He expressed his gratitude towards AEW and the Khan family for the opportunity and experience he gained with the company.
