Bryan Danielson is done with his full-time in-ring career, but ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey still wishes for an opportunity to compete against him down the line.
During a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Bailey was asked about the wrestlers he would like to face in AEW. He said,
“So, number 1 right now on that list — and it’s a shame ’cause it might not be possible — but Bryan Danielson. I think he’s one of the world’s best professional wrestlers or the best professional wrestler in the world, and has been for a long time. [He] Has experience in all forms of professional wrestling. If that match is possible, that is one that I would really hope to happen.”
Danielson recently said he is considering a part-time in-ring return, but there is no word on when or how it would happen.
