After the recent TV rights agreements, Tony Schiavone is excited about the upcoming years with AEW.
During Saturday night’s post-AEW WrestleDream 2024 press conference, Schiavone discussed AEW’s new media rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery and Fox Sports Mexico.
Schiavone said, “We’re very very excited about our renewal with Warner Brothers Discovery and Fox Sports Mexico. We’re very very excited about that. I’m personally excited that my long-time career is going to continue for at least another four to five years or so. I’m honored to be here.”
Schiavone has been with AEW since the company’s launch in 2019.
Jon Moxley defeated Bryan Danielson to win the AEW World Championship at WrestleDream 2024, and former champion MJF isn’t too happy about it.
MJF, who returned to AEW TV at Saturday night’s pay-per-view event, wrote, “Warned y’all about Dictator Jon. No one listens to Maxwell.”

And finally, PROGRESS Women’s Champion Rhio has vowed to have the longest title reign.
Rhio’s reign currently stands at 357 days, surpassing Toni Storm’s tenure. Only one person has a longer reign than her. That wrestler is Jinny, who held the title for 482 days from December 2019 to May 2021.
Rhio tweeted, “CHIN UP, TITS OUT, AND WATCH FOR THE SHOE!!! I’m sure that’s what she told me. I WILL be the LONGEST REIGNING @ThisIs_Progress Women’s World Champion in history!!! No one is stopping me.”
