Bryan Danielson is your new AEW World Champion.
In the main event of Sunday’s AEW All In 2024 pay-per-view event, Danielson and Swerve Strickland went to war in a match that featured plenty of blood.
Danielson, who used Europe’s “Final Countdown” song as his entrance theme, forced Swerve Strickland to tap out to the Rings of Saturn. Following the match, Danielson celebrated with his wife, WWE Hall of Famer Brie Garcia, and his children, Birdie and Buddy Danielson in the ring as confetti poured down.
Strickland’s World Title reign comes to an end at 126 days. This is the first AEW World Championship and the first AEW title of any kind for Danielson.
