During a recent appearance on the “Hawk’s Nest” podcast, Lance Archer commented on his wrestling style, putting moves that aren’t traditional to big men in his repertoire, and more.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On adding elements to his wrestling style early in his career: “Everybody [was] working on new things — this [was] the early 2000s, so yeah, there was an idea of what big men were, but there was also kind of an evolution of the business. There always is. There’s been big evolutions in the business even [in] the last few years, and that’s just life.”

On putting moves that aren’t traditional to big men in his repertoire: “I never did anything too crazy. The moonsault was probably the biggest [thing]. … And until I landed on my head in AEW, I had never landed on my head, and it was just an easy move.”

Orange Cassidy recently spoke with Wrestfriends to discuss the formation of The Conglomeration, which consists of himself, Mark Briscoe, Kyle O’Reilly, and Willow Nightingale.

You can check out some highlights from the interview below:

On the formation of the group: “We’re all together, we’re a bunch of people who just love to conglomerate, get after it. We were actually going through all the same things, we’ve all been — when my friends decided to ditch me and leave me alone and turn their back on me, I was alone, I was lost, and shut down. I decided to open up and I found out there’s a bunch of people going through the same thing that I’m going through, and we all decided to come together and band together. So that’s what The Conglomeration is all about.”

On how O’Reilly summed up the group: “He said, I’m the brains, Mark is the muscle, Kyle is the looks, and Willow is the person in the van that tells us to stop yelling or she’ll turn the car around.”
