During a recent appearance on the “Women’s Wrestling Talk” podcast, D-Von Dudley talked about his sons, Terrell and Terrence Hughes, and their past experience in AEW and ROH.
D-Von mentioned that AEW/ROH didn’t turn out well for his sons and expressed his desire for them to join NXT.
He said, “They had a little stint in AEW and it didn’t really go well for them there. I didn’t like their little stint there either, I didn’t think they were being used correctly or used at all just like so many other talent in that company that’s not being used correctly. I wanted them to get out, I wanted them to go to NXT and try to get their feet wet there. That’s what we’re doing right now with them. It’s one of those things where I was happy they were able to leave that part of their life and their wrestling career and go start a new chapter. They’re doing very very well. They’re on the indies a lot, they’re going overseas, they’re doing so much but I’m very proud of them. Every once in a while, they like to bring the old man along with them [laughs].”
Matt Cardona will challenge Chris Jericho for the ROH World Title at Final Battle 2024 on December 20.
Ahead of their match, Cardona tweeted, “You can’t just work hard when everybody is watching. You have to work hard when nobody is watching. You can’t just love this business when things are going your way. You have to love this business when nothing is going your way. Be #AlwayzReady…because you never know when an opportunity will present itself. Cardona vs. @IAmJericho for the @ringofhonor World Title in NYC on December 20!”

Paul Walter Hauser has challenged Jeff Jarrett to a match after Jarrett had previously smashed a guitar over his head. This incident occurred back in January 2023 during AEW Rampage.
During a recent appearance on “Hey! (EW),” Hauser said, “I’d like to call out Jeff Jarrett and just say, you know, what happened was you took the liberty of breaking a guitar over my head. I went with it, albeit unscripted, because I love wrestling and I was honored to be in the ring and have a moment with all you guys. Then about four months into having my Golden Globe, I had to hit up Tony Khan and ask him to give it back to me and mail it overnight. So that never really got resolved. So I just know that you are having a good moment. You’ve shown yourself to be a more trustworthy, thoughtful guy, and I know you’re in a new place. So I just want to say, whether it’s a tag match with you or against you, I feel that there’s some business to be had there.”
