The upcoming AEW All Out 2024 pay-per-view event will be held on Saturday, September 7, at the NOW Arena in Chicago, IL.
Following the All In London 2024 pay-per-view event at Wembley Stadium, AEW has had only a two-week build-up to the event.
The confirmed matches for AEW All Out 2024 include AEW World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson facing Jack Perry, a Steel Cage Match between Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page, and AEW International Champion Will Ospreay taking on PAC.
Additional matchups feature Daniel Garcia against MJF and CMLL Women’s Champion Willow Nightingale squaring off against Kris Statlander in a Chicago Street Fight.
It is expected that more matches will be announced during tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio, Page vs. Strickland is currently planned as the main event of AEW All Out 2024.
Alvarez said, “At least as of the last I heard, which was, I think, Friday or something like that, the Swerve Strickland-Hangman Page steel cage match is scheduled to be the main event going on last. I certainly would not want to follow that match, but that’s just me.”
Page and Strickland first faced off in October 2023 and continued to face each other the following month. The wrestling community heavily praised their intense Texas Deathmatch at AEW Full Gear 2023. Page and Strickland faced each other again at AEW WrestleDream 2023 and later competed in a triple threat match for the AEW World Title at AEW Revolution 2024. The two were on opposing teams in this year’s Blood & Guts match.
