During a recent appearance on the “My Mom’s Basement” podcast, QT Marshall discussed his match with Big Boom! AJ at AEW Full Gear 2024, describing it as one of the greatest pre-show matches ever.

Marshall stated that he doesn’t have a wrestling contract but would like to wrestle more.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On what’s next for him: “Next for me, I don’t know. I was speaking with Tony. I think I’m onto something with the whole Doom thing [laughs]. I hate the fact that it was just copying what he had, or being the bizarro world against what he had, but at the end of the day, I think that whole presentation, it might have clicked a little bit for myself but also for the audience, and I kind of felt like I was in my own, so maybe we’ll stick to that. I don’t know. I still don’t even have a wrestling contract. So I’m not sure. I’d love to wrestle once in a while, as long as it doesn’t take away from the backstage role. But yeah, if it were up to me, maybe I’d wrestle a little bit more.”

On whether he’ll end up wrestling in AEW again: “Who knows? We’ll see. Like I said, take it one day at a time. I’m still enjoying what happened [at AEW Full Gear], so we’ll see. I think I still gotta talk to Tony and see what he has in mind. I’m hoping that I don’t have to go to him and pitch anything. I think it’d be great if he came to me and said, ‘Hey, you know what I think::.’ That would be really cool. But with the roster that we have and the great talent that we have, I’m not holding my breath [laughs], so we’ll see.”

During a recent appearance on the “Ropes N Riffs” podcast, It Lives, It Breathes vocalist Kevin Lacerda expressed his desire to perform Will Ospreay’s “Elevated” theme at a wrestling event.

Lacerda said, I don’t have any predispositions to imagine that that would something that would ever be actually happened, but I’m allowed to….that I would have written something creatively that ended up being played in Madison Square Garden and big arenas in Toronto, in the Tokyo Dome, in Wembley Stadium while frickin’ fireworks are shooting out the top. I’m gonna stop it there, cause I’m not gonna get weepy-eyed on a podcast. But it’s wild, man. My dreams are gonna escalate beyond that point, but if I don’t get any of those things to ever manifest, it’s still amazing in and of itself that that ever happened to begin with. But like I would love and want to manifest, on a podcast or whatever in my own mind to want to play my net, the only final level for me. When it comes to that stuff is to play Will Ospreay to the ring live. I think he knows that like I’ve made tweets like that just kind of for random fans, they get stoked whenever it gets posted and I want to engage with those fans. I think he knows that maybe it’s something that’s on his mind. We’ve seen Jericho perform his band to the ring, and not think that there’s not a possibility that something like that wouldn’t be cool for him too. Even when I see Will do what he does when the crowd does the Ospreay chant back to him, I’m like, he moves his arms the way I would have moved my arms…very Freddie Mercury open arms, that kind of thing. I’m just out there when I perform live. When Will does everything with that, I’m like, that’s exactly how I would have done it. So if I never get a chance to do this with him, at least I know he’s taking care of business. He’s engaging that crowd with his hands like a maestro, the exact way that I would have done it if I was there doing it every single night live performing for him. So it’s awesome.
