Daniel Garcia is receiving considerable attention from both AEW and WWE. AEW is interested in keeping Garcia signed to their roster, while WWE wants to bring him on board.
After being written off television, Garcia returned to AEW programming during the MJF vs. Will Ospreay match for the International Title at AEW All In London 2024. Garcia interfered during the match, causing MJF to lose. He later put MJF over at All Out 2024 before attacking him.
Garcia’s AEW contract expires in October, but he has yet to renew it.
As we previously reported here on eWn, the former ROH Pure Champion is not appearing on AEW television as he has not signed a new contract. Moreover, AEW’s confidence in re-signing him has significantly decreased.
However, Ibou of WrestlePurists is reporting that AEW still believes Garcia will re-sign. In fact, AEW has developed creative plans for him if he signs a new contract and returns to television.
