All Elite Wrestling will be going down under in 2025 for a stadium show in Australia with plans already underway, it has been reported this week.
The Sporting News is reporting that the promotion is already considering venues, including Sydney’s Allianz Stadium, Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, and Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium.
Entertainment company TEG is believed to be supporting the event. AEW President Tony Khan has yet to publicly comment on the matter.
WWE has a history of events in Australia including 2002’s Global Warning Tour, 2018’s Super ShowDown, and Elimination Chamber: Perth earlier this year.
Last month, Tony Khan was asked about a stadium event in the U.S. and said that his promotion should never be underestimated.
AEW will return to the UK later this month for its second stadium event, All In, which will take place from Wembley Stadium in London, England.
