Fightful Select is reporting that EJ Nduka is now officially a free agent, having quietly parted ways with All Elite Wrestling.

Nduka’s contract with AEW recently expired, ending a run that began in early 2023. Though his appearances on AEW television were limited, he was a regular on Ring of Honor, where he teamed with Lee Johnson as the tag team “LeeJ.”

Before his time in AEW, Nduka competed in WWE’s NXT system and spent over a year with Major League Wrestling (MLW), where he earned a strong reputation as a formidable competitor.

According to sources, several promotions have expressed interest in signing Nduka following his departure from AEW, but no official announcement has been made about his next step.

EJ took to Twitter to comment, writing, “I was never meant to sit. Benches were made for the unsure. I’ve heard the call now it’s time to move. If you think this guy was made to ride the bench you need to call the 1800 number cause you suffer from mesothelioma you pencil neck reject.”
