Last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite took place in Omaha during a blizzard.
The main event featured Jon Moxley defending the AEW World Title against Cope in a Street Fight.
Moxley won the match and is scheduled to defend the gold against Swerve Strickland on next week’s show.
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez reported that Moxley drove almost eleven hours to the show because he could not fly due to the weather conditions.
Alvarez said, “There were several individuals that were supposed to fly in and they couldn’t, so they drove in.…..I believe Jon Moxley’s one of the people that drove like 11 hours to get to the building because they couldn’t fly in.”
