Ricky Starks has been absent from AEW television for several months following an injury scare. His last appearance was on the March 30th episode of AEW Collision.
Despite confirming that he is not injured, Starks remains uncertain about AEW’s decision not to utilize him. However, AEW President Tony Khan recently expressed interest in bringing Starks back.
As we previously reported here on eWn, Starks declined a storyline pitch involving a feud with his former tag team partner, Big Bill, as he believed it would not benefit Bill.
Following the airing of last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Beach Break, Starks posted a photo of himself on Twitter, which sparked criticism from a fan for allegedly diverting attention from the highly praised show.
The fan tweeted, “don’t talk about the excellent Dynamite. talk about me. Attention wh*re.”
Starks responded to the accusation, expressing his dissatisfaction with the implication. He wrote, “Shut the f**k up.”
