Following a victory over The Beast Mortos on Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Ricochet had a quick backstage interview segment with Renee Paquette that was immediately interrupted by Will Ospreay.
The AEW International Champion tried to make amends about any heat between the two of them. Ricochet said he has nothing to apologize for, but since he has him, he wants to inform him of something.
Since Ospreay had said Ricochet should get his wins up and then come see him, that’s what he’s been doing, and nobody is calling out Ospreay like they’re calling out Ricochet. He knows Ospreay is busy next week with the AEW World Tag Team Championship shot, but he talked to Tony Khan, and the following week (October 2nd) on the five year anniversary of AEW Dynamite, Ricochet will get a title opportunity for the AEW International Championship against Ospreay.
