Shelton Benjamin – ‘I’d Love To Work For AEW Or TNA’ + AEW Dynamite To Get Another Overrun

Shelton Benjamin is down to work for TNA and AEW if given the opportunity.

Benjamin, who was released from WWE in September of 2023, remains a free agent.

While speaking with The Daily Star, Benjamin commented on possibly making appearances in AEW or TNA. He said,

“I’m always open to working with any of those companies. At this point, it’s a business aspect of to me, and that’s how I approach it. I’d love to work in AEW. I’d love work in IMPACT. I don’t put a limit on where I’m going. I’m open to all of these places.”

He added, “New Japan is still my favorite company outside of WWE, and I say WWE because I have so many friends still there. I’m open to anything and everywhere.”

AEW President Tony Khan has announced that Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite will have an overrun. “TK” wrote,

“Thank you all who watch AEW!

This week is @AEW’s 5 year anniversary!

We’re celebrating Sunday where it all began 5 years ago: #AEWDoN ppv @MGMGrand!

But first, we have an exciting go-home Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite! Thanks to @TBSNetwork, we’ll have an overrun on Wednesday!”
