The Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) made their return to AEW television on Thursday night’s episode of AEW Collision, confronting Paragon (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, & Roderick Strong).
This marked their first appearance on AEW TV since October 2024. While they have appeared on ROH TV, their presence has been limited, with no consistent involvement since early 2025.

Zach Gowen made his AEW debut on this week’s episode of Collision.
He was acknowledged before Ricochet’s match against Angelico. Following Ricochet’s victory, he grabbed a microphone and called out Gowen. When security stepped in to deescalate the situation, Ricochet attacked them.
In a shocking moment, Ricochet cut the hair of one of the security guards, prompting Gowen to enter the ring. Ricochet then struck Gowen’s leg, hit him with the Recoil, and stole his prosthetic leg.
Later in the broadcast, AEW announced that Zach Gowen will face Ricochet at AEW Dynamite: Beach Break on May 14.
