CMLL announced its first matchups for the CMLL vs. AEW x ROH show on June 17 at Arena Mexico, featuring ROH World Champion Bandido facing off against Mascara Dorada.

Bandido participating in the CMLL event represents a major change, as he was previously barred from Arena Mexico due to his past ties with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. However, things have since evolved, particularly with WWE’s acquisition of AAA.
Moreover, CMLL reportedly informed Bandido to participate in their upcoming shows.
Bandido’s AEW colleague, The Beast Mortos, is also expected to appear at the CMLL vs. AEW x ROH event. Notably, Mortos was also previously banned from Arena Mexico.
