As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, Daniel Garcia’s AEW contract will expire in October, and he has yet to sign a new deal.
Garcia has been absent from AEW television since earlier this month following an angle on Dynamite where MJF attacked him, turning heel, shortly after Garcia’s loss to Will Ospreay for the AEW International Championship.
According to Cory from PWN, Garcia is currently deciding whether to remain with AEW or move to WWE. The former ROH Pure Champion is unsure about his future.
The report states, “As reported on @FightfulSelect yesterday, Daniel Garcia has not currently re-signed with AEW. #PWN was able to confirm this news and learned that Garcia is ‘conflicted’ about what he wants to do next whether it’s staying with AEW or entertaining the possibility of going to WWE. Something to keep an eye on as we get closer to October when his contract is set to expire.”
If Garcia chooses to sign a new contract with AEW, he is expected to return and start a feud with MJF.
