Tommy Dreamer has been keeping a close eye on AEW and has been very impressed by one woman on the roster who has yet to hold gold.
On a recent edition of the “Busted Open After Dark” podcast, Dreamer praised Penelope Ford and compared her to WWE’s Liv Morgan. He said,
“I will praise Penelope Ford again. Every time I watch her, that woman improves. I really, really enjoy her. She’s giving me Liv Morgan vibes. She just needs to piece a couple of things together and that woman could be a mega star within the industry. Super athletic, just really has improved every single time I see her. I really enjoy watching her work.”
Dreamer compared Ford and Megan Bayne’s alliance to Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, adding that what the two partnerships share is “special.”
Ford has been a regular on AEW TV since aligning with Bayne. She joined the company in January 2019 as one of AEW’s first female signings.
