On a recent edition of his “What Happened When” podcast, AEW broadcaster Tony Schiavone shared his thoughts on “The Iron Claw,” the biopic of the Von Erich family.
Schiavone noted that he found the movie enjoyable despite some shortcomings. He particularly criticized Dean Eisenberg’s portrayal of Ric Flair.
Schiavone said, “I liked it. A couple of things I didn’t like, I think most of us did not like who portrayed Ric Flair and I don’t know if there is an actor out there who would’ve really captured Ric Flair.”
The Iron Claw grossed $45.2 million at the box office against a budget of $15.9 million.
