Darby Allin is currently ascending Mt. Everest, and there is a new update regarding his journey.
The former AEW TNT Champion began his ascent on April 8.
An update was posted on the Adventure Consultants website, which was later deleted, suggesting that Allin’s team arrived at the Mt. Everest Base on Sunday, April 20.
The update mentioned that the expedition leader, Ang Dorjee, stated that the ascent of Mt. Everest would commence shortly thereafter.
Moreover, Allin’s team would participate in a Puja, a ritual conducted before any team attempts to scale Mt. Everest.
The reason for removing the update remains unclear.
As of this writing, there is still no word on when Allin will complete his climb or when he will be back on AEW TV.
