During a recent appearance on the “3NT Wrestling” podcast, Will Ospreay discussed the rise of a new Hayabusa in wrestling.
Ospreay had already paid respect to the original Hayabusa, the late Eiji Ezaki, with his ring gear.
The former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion also expressed his interest in facing the new Hayabusa. Ospreay said,
“I would actually love to wrestle the new Hayabusa as well. I don’t know if you guys have been seeing they’ve done a brand-new Hayabusa. They’ve got the permission from the family. So for me, I got the permission from the family to don the mask. I would love nothing more to one day step across the ring and really — I think that would just be such a dream scenario for me…”
The International Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame has announced WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana as the latest inductee for the Class of 2025. The ceremony takes place on October 12 in Albany, New York.
