AEW star Brian Cage has refuted claims that he is injured which has led to his lengthy hiatus from wrestling with the company.
Cage’s last match for AEW was at the Chris Jericho Rock ‘n Rager cruise (Day 4) where he defeated Serpentico on October 24, 2021.
His last match on land for AEW saw him lose to FTW Champion Ricky Starks at the October 6, 2021 taping of AEW Rampage.
On Twitter, Cage commented on his situation, saying that he is not injured, despite several reports saying that he is.
It's funny to see how many people have put out claims I've been injured…I've seem knee, shoulder, and unspecified reports. Nope, I'm not nor have been injured.

Cage has been wrestling outside of AEW, recently competing against Nick Wayne for the “Violence X Suffering” promotion in California on July 16th.
The former FTW Champion also appeared for AEW recently, albeit in a non-wrestling role, accompanying ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham to the ring on the July 15th Rampage.
