As reported earlier here on eWn, the CDC has recommended that all gatherings of 50 or more people be cancelled. With that being said, MGM Resorts International has announced that they will be shutting down their Las Vegas properties on Tuesday. This includes the MGM Grand, which is the site of AEW’s upcoming Dymamite TV taping and their Double or Nothing pay-per-view event. The Grand Garden Arena was set to host the March 27th episode of AEW Dynamite. You can check out the official announcement below:
The 2020 edition of AEW’s Double Or Nothing pay-per-view is scheduled for May 23rd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, but with MGM properties in Las Vegas being suspended, the status of the event is now up in the air. It’s possible the arena will be “cleared” by then as the event takes place in May but nobody knows at this point.
