Eddie Kingston is currently on a break from the independent scene due to an injury. He recently won the ROH World Title and retained the NJPW Strong Openweight Title during Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam.
Kingston has decided not to take any independent dates, including his scheduled match against Bryan Keith at Warrior Wrestling on October 6.
This decision is due to his championship responsibilities and his back injury.
He wrote, “I love the Independents but times have changed. I am truly sorry for not being able to do them right now. But I am truly no bullsh*t trying to be the best Champion for both NJPW strong and ROH and must put that above anything else right now. This sucks.”
