Current Executive Producer and Color Commentator for WOW – Women of Wrestling AJ Mendez is set to appear in an upcoming feature film called Sacramento.
In addition to Mendez, the cast will include Kristen Stewart, Michael Cera, and Michael Angarano.
According to Dave Meltzer, “Mendez plays a pro fighter on a road trip from Los Angeles to Sacramento where the cast members talk about their pasts and futures.”
Mendez, formerly known as AJ Lee in WWE, has been retired from in-ring competition since 2015.
