On tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw, Ricochet defended his United States Championship against AJ Styles.
Earlier in the night, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson did some instigating between the two competitors. Ricochet’s interaction with them prompting him to say if he faced Styles again he could beat him. Karl Anderson told Styles “The AJ Styles I know would walk up to Ricochet, accept the challenge, and slap him across the face”.

AJ Styles had originally defeated Ricochet to win the United States Championship. However, it was overruled as Ricochet’s foot was under the rope. The match was restarted resulting in Ricochet coming out victorious to retain his championship.
After the conclusion of the match, Styles viciously attacked Ricochet with some help from Gallows & Anderson.
