Alberto Del Rio’s mixed martial arts (MMA) return is set. Although there are no details in regards to date or venue, ESPN reports that the former WWE Champion will fight former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz. The fight will take place under the Combate Americas banner.

Ortiz has been fairly active over the past several years of his career. He last competed in November when he knocked out Chuck Liddell in the headliner of a Golden Boy MMA event. As for Del Rio, although he’s better known for his professional wrestling career, the Mexican star is also a legitimate mixed martial artist.

Del Rio previously fought for promotions such as PRIDE, competing against notable names such as Kazuhiro Nakamura and Mirko Cro Cop. His last fight took place in 2010, when he was defeated via second-round TKO by Yamamoto Hanshi in Spain. The loss ended a six-fight win streak for the now 42-year-old.
