Alberto El Patron (Alberto Del Rio in WWE) believes he should be in the WWE Hall of Fame.
On Sunday, Patron took to his Twitter account and made his case for why he should be in the WWE Hall of Fame.
The former WWE World Champion posted a photoshopped image of himself as a WWE Hall of Fame inductee, captioning the photo with:
“4 times World Heavyweight Champion. Winner of the biggest battle royal in WWE history. Money in the Bank winner. 2 times WWE United States Champion. I will do my best to raise the Mexican flag once.”
Patron has repeatedly said that WWE is interested in having him return, but that is simply not the case. Several WWE sources have indicated that they don’t ever expect him to return to the company.
Additionally, AEW President Tony Khan is “not a fan” of El Patron due to his past issues and has no plans to bring him in.
Patron was set to return to AAA at TripleMania XXX, but he was pulled from the event at the last minute.
