According to Pwinsider, Alberto El Patron filed an amended 28-page lawsuit against Combate Global MMA on August 9th. The ex-WWE star claimed that Combate breached his contract for his scheduled bout against Tito Ortiz, which aired on pay-per-view. Alberto said he wasn’t paid the $250,000 he was promised and that his social media accounts weren’t returned to him after he was allowed access to the show.
The report noted that Alberto wants $250,000 in damages and interest of at least $26,250. He’s also looking at recouping the legal fees and his social media accounts.
The lawsuit was amended after Combate’s parent company was dropped as a defendant. We’ll keep you updated on this developing story.
