Alberto El Patron’s (Del Rio) Sexual Assault Trial Scheduled To Begin Next Week

The trial for Alberto El Patron (Del Rio) for charges of sexual assault and kidnapping will begin next week. According to PWInsider, El Patron’s trial is scheduled to begin on Monday, as he faces four counts of sexual assault and aggravated kidnapping.

Back in October 2020, Patron was indicted for these charges stemming from a May 9th, 2020 arrest. The victim had told police the Sunday prior to his arrest that Patron accused her of cheating and had physically assaulted her. He allegedly told the victim that if she didn’t wear a dress and dance for him, he would “take her son and drop him in the middle of the road somewhere.”

Patron had assaulted the victim for several hours, then threatened to burn up her passport, leaving her behind with multiple injuries.

Patron’s brother is claiming the woman has apologized to his family, saying sorry over social media for “damages caused by my mistakes” and admitting that she had “lied.” Despite this alleged claim, the trial will still begin on Monday. If Patron is convicted, he will face life in prison without the possibility of parole.
