AEW has confirmed that they have signed Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez. He previously worked AEW’s Fyter Fest event alongside Excalibur and Jim Ross so that appears to be the main AEW announce team going forward.
Goldenboy is well known in the ESports world for his commentary and hosting work. He’s worked events for Call of Duty, Halo and Overwatch.
