Alexa Bliss Shares Photo While Working Towards In-Ring Return, Kurt Angle On Survivor Series Debut

– Former WWE Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss is currently suffering from multiple concussions, which is why WWE hasn’t cleared her to compete in the ring. Bliss was originally scheduled to face Trish Stratus and Lita in a tag match at WWE Evolution but was pulled after suffering a concussion just days before the show.

Then, Bliss was revealed as the captain for Team Raw at Survivor Series in a non-wrestling capacity last week. Bliss hasn’t competed in a WWE ring for the past few weeks due to a concussion. Bliss noted on Instagram that she’s working on getting back in the ring. She wrote the following today:

“Done looking for perfection , now looking for progress. New Focus, New motivation. Starting slow, keeping it light in the gym, light work in the ring & step by step coming back better, stronger & healthier.”

– WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle tweeted the following on making his Survivor Series debut in 1999:

“19 years ago today, I had my very first match in WWE at #SurvivorSeries PPV. Fans were chanting “BORING, BORING”. So wait… I’ve gone from BORING chants to YOU SUCK chants??? I wouldn’t have it any other way. #itstrue.”
