As we reported last week here on eWn, Mustafa Ali has requested his release from WWE. As of now, the release has not been granted.
Amanda Huber, the widow of the late Brodie Lee (Jon Huber), took to Twitter to show some support for Ali.
When Huber noticed that #FreeAli was trending on Twitter, she noted that Brodie Lee had previously asked for his WWE release as well and got “stuck.” She said,
“I keep seeing #FreeAli is trending. I know what it’s like watching someone ask for their release and get stuck. I promise the future is ready for the amazing things @AliWWE is going to do. It sucks it’s delayed but know we are rooting for you.”
