According to a report from Dave Meltzer, AEW star Andrade El Idolo is reportedly “not on good terms” with AAA and promoter Dorian Roldan. The bad beef reportedly stems back to a championship match between Andrade and Kenny Omega, in which Andrade was rumored to originally defeat Omega, but AAA officials decided to change course. The decision reportedly was because Andrade had asked for too much money.
The AEW wrestler is now believed to be “on the outs” with the company following his absence at three other TripleMania shows.
Andrade was recently in the news for claiming to have had a backstage altercation with AEW’s Sammy Guevara. Andrade is set to face The Dark Order’s 10 on this week’s episode of AEW Rampage. If Andrade loses, he’ll be forced to leave AEW for good. However if 10 loses, he’s forced to unmask.
