AEW star Angelico took to Twitter to announce that tomorrow he will make a statement regarding the rumors on his future.
The South African wrestler last worked for AEW on December 3rd at a Dark taping in Orlando, while his last match on Dynamite happened on September 29th. He has yet to wrestle in 2022 and both he and his tag team partner Jack Evans have been rumored to be among the wrestlers whose AEW contracts will not be renewed.
Angelico is mostly known for his work in AAA and Lucha Underground, where he won several championships. In AEW, he and Jack Evans weren’t able to find the success they hoped for, especially during and after the pandemic.
