Since this was the first year we didn’t have to fly, my family and I drove down Sunday morning to go to WrestleMania and Raw for the 6th straight year. While WrestleMania was a disappointment this year, the Raw definitely made up for it.

WrestleMania left me thinking “what does the future hold for WWE.” Out of all six I’ve been to this had to be the most disappointing. The best match by far was the Undertaker vs. C.M. Punk match, as I am a huge Undertaker fan BUT… since his bout at WrestleMania 25 with Shawn Michaels, this year it finally set in with me that Taker’s matches always are the same.

Taker gets beat down most of the match, kicks out of finishers, hits the choke slam, Last Ride, Tombstone, which whoever he faces kicks out, then hits another Tombstone and he wins. Taker definitely looked a lot better this year compared to previous years, though. Triple H and Lesnar was a lot better than I thought it would of been and in my opinion the Rock vs. John Cena too was even better than I expected this time around. There were a lot more near falls than last year at least.

Now Raw was the whole trip for me. You could just tell the crowd was going to be insane as you walked into the building the pre-show “woo’s” and chants were loud. The crowd was a bit pissed when Randy Orton vs. Shaemus was announced, so that’s when the fun started. Chants such as “pretzel guy” “we want pretzels” “cotton candy” and others along this lines started but the biggest was for Fandango’s theme song.

From the first promo I was and still am high on Fandango (Johnny Curtis), as I think he can go so far with this character. I believe that crowd made him last night. As we left the arena, fans were still humming his song and even car horns were honking to it.. My phone was dead otherwise I would of been videoing the whole thing.

Overall, Raw was the best thing live I have ever been to. I started going to WrestleMania’s at 24 in Orlando and plan to go next year as well in New Orleans. I’ve been to every Raw, Smackdown, pay-per-view in the Philadelphia area since I was four. The crowd at this Raw hands down was the best.
