Another Rumored Addition to WWE Extreme Rules 2019

There have been many reports over the weekend that WWE had been considering adding at least one match to Sunday night’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

Yesterday, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that a decision was made to not make any changes and keep the card as is.

However, now a report is coming out from POST Wrestling that WWE is considering adding a match that will feature Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler to this event.

There are quite a few matches that would make sense to add to this card due to the number of major players that are sitting on the sidelines for this event.

One such major player is Kevin Owens. Kevin Owens definitely had the biggest splash of the week on the WWE side of things with an impactful promo on this week’s SmackDown that called out the overusing of Shane McMahon as of late.

Kevin Owens also ended the most recent of WWE SmackDown by giving Shane McMahon a Stone Cold Stunner.

With the Intercontinental Champion and the Women’s Tag Team Champions also being on the sidelines for this event, is this a match that you would want to see added over something with championship value? Let us know in the comments below.
